Summer Fun

So summer is slowly creeping up on us. Hope so cause all this rain kinda sucks. Lots of stuff going on as well. This month my brother-in-laws birthday is Thursday, my friends pure romance party is Saturday, my best friend and I are putting our birthdays together for a cookout on the 25th. July is my other friends birthday party. August I'm going to Kentucky for the weekend and my sisters baby shower is the weekend after. And come Sptember I'll be in Vegas for 5 days :) Can't wait.

Well, good news for my sister. After trying for three years she and her husband are pregnant. She is going to be having a girl. The due date is October 8th, but the doctor doesn't believe she'll last that long.

Getting Ready for Vegas

Okay so not leaving until September, but getting everything set and figured out. Leaving Thursday and returning on Monday. So far Thurs is the flight, dropping stuff off at the hotel, going down and booking my friends tattoo, Eiffel Tower, and Holly's PeepShow. Fri we have dinner at Bobby Flay's and seeing Phantom. Saturday is a do whatever day with the casino and bars. Sunday is the lion habitat and Lion King, and Monday we come home.

Vacation part 2

Okay so on Thursday my sister and I were supposed to go to Pennsylvania and go outlet shopping. It's didn't go that way. She had been sick for a week so she went to the doctors instead. So the rest of the day was pretty quiet. As was for Friday. I went up to my work to retrieve my schedule. Went to Target and got a few things. Then I headed over to Aldi's because my parents went shopping for food for their trip and seemed to have forgotten about the animals and myself. Sat was all right. Poor last day and it was raining all day. Went up to the library. Headed up to Giant Eagle to cash in my coins. Went ot my sisters house around 6 and from there we went to her friends Cathy's for a Brown Bag Party. Afterwards we went out and let's just say it didn't go so well and we were home before midnight.

Vacation part one

Okay since I'm half way through with my vacation I figured I'd post about it. Started on Sunday, around 6 am, the house phone rang. It was work calling. Someone had called off and they told my dad I was the only one available for it. My dad then informed them that I was on vacation. Go figure that they hadn't even checked the main schedule and just decided to call. I spent most of the day online checking on Best Buy to get a new computer. My old one was around six to seven years old. So I was in need of a replacement. Spent a lot of time texting my ex on it. He does work with computers all his life so I fully trusted his judgement on it.

Monday morning came I got up around 9 am. Took a quick shower and got ready to go to Best Buy. My sister was supposed to go with me but she had been feeling ill so I went to the bank. After the bank my dad had gotten out of his doctors appointment and we met at McDonalds for breakfast. He went over with me to Best Buy. Went home and waited like an hour for them to call to tell me the computer was ready and I was getting a $30.00 refund due to it already coming with the recover disk. Came home, and disconnected the old computer and reconnected the new one.

Tuesday was a lazy day. Went to the store with my mother for a few things and stopped up at the library real quick. Also I can now play Sims 3 on my computer, so happy about that. Had it since it had first came out but my old computer couldn't handle it.

Now we're onto Wednesday. Another lazy day so to speak. Did laundry and loads of it. My parents had planned a trip to Virginia Beach, leaving Friday and returning next Tuesday. So I get the house to myself. Figured all the laundry gets down and they can start packing without rushing around last minute, not that it probably won't happen anyways.

SAD

Okay so at my work we have police officers from the city of Elyria come in and do extra hours as security, for extra pay. Just found out one of our officers died from a gunshot wound. He was doing a routine check for a warrant and shots got fired. The suspect is dead and now the office is as well. He died when they arrived at the hospital. He was one of those guys who would joke around with you, told you about his family and everything.
